The NISE Network’s online annual survey was created to learn more about the experiences of participants in NISE Net and how the Network might better support their activities. Many of you have participated over the past couple of years (thank you!), so we thought you might be interested in some of the results. We'll be highlighting different findings from the 2013 survey over the next few months in our Evaluation and Research Findings blog posts.
Featured Findings about involvement with professional organizations:
- Of the NISE Network partners who filled out the recent Annual Partner Survey, half are engaged with the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) through membership or attending events. Other popular professional organizations include National Science Teachers Association (NSTA, 27%) and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM, 24%).
- 78% of those who are involved with an organization have attended the organization’s conference, and 64% said they have been to a session or event there connected to NISE Net. We are everywhere!
