The exhibition NANO VIEW was set up by the students of Leuven’s Academy of Art (SLAC) and showed the world of nanotechnology through the eyes of 800 youngsters. The works of arts were first shows in SLAC and later on at IMEC and KHLeuven.

It's a Nano World is a traveling 3,000 square feet exhibition developed and toured by the Sciencenter. It's a Nano World introduces children and their families to the biological wonders of the nano world and is designed for 5-8 year olds and their families.

The Ferrofluid Magnetoscope, by Michael Flynn, is an exhibit component that allows cooperatively-interactive control of a levitating liquid sculpture using a pair of magnet positioning handwheels. Visitors explore the properties of ferrofluid and learn about nanoscale science. It is available for sale at FunExhibits.com

To address this challenge of depicting a world we can't see, the NISE Network Visualization Laboratory at the Exploratorium invited artists and scientists to explore ways of representing the nanoscale through a series of commissions, installations, and residencies in 2006. Drawing from a spectrum of artistic media and approaches, the results of these experiences are documented in this report. The PDF is a printable, archival document of the ArtNano website that was produced by the Exploratorium for the NISE Network in 2007.
