This guide outlines general rules for collecting and handling TBI data. The guide was created for inclusion in the NISE Net IRB protocol as a part of the human subjects training of NISE Net partners.

Staff training materials for Nano & Society workshop. The workshop focused on preparing museum educators to engage the public in conversations about the relationship between nanotechnology and society. Workshop participants learned new hands-on activities, full-length programs, and ideas for facilitating visitor experiences in the Nano mini-exhibition. The workshop provided specific training and skill-building in nano and society content, conversation facilitation, and improving and learning from professional practice (Team Based Inquiry). The skills developed in the workshop are readily applied to floor facilitation of other topics, as well. This guide to partnering with researchers and scientists is designed for the U.S. science museum community, and was produced by the Strategic Projects Group at the Museum of Science, Boston, for the NISE Network.

Step-by-step advice on planning, developing, funding, and maintaining education outreach partnerships between research centers and museums. This 50-page guide is an updated and consolidated version of the 2010 "Small Steps, Big Impact" guide posted on the web at www.risepartnerguide.org. Helpful for both science museum and research center planners, this 2013 edition is available both as a free 25-page landscape-view PDF download and as a handy 50-page 6x9 printed booklet that can be ordered for $12 including shipping from the Museum of Science, Boston.

"Engaging the Public in Nano" provides an overview of key concepts in nanoscale science, engineering, and technology, as identified by the NISE Network. This document is intended as a resource for educators and others who engage the public in informal learning experiences.

Staff and Volunteer training materials for NanoDays.

The NISE Network content map articulates the key ideas for our educational products, including programs, exhibits, and media experiences. It presents the content knowledge the network has identified as the most important for engaging the public in learning about nanoscale science, engineering, and technology. Content map resources include the full written text document, a powerpoint presentation outlining the map, and a one-page graphic summary of the map. The content map was created in 2011 and revised in 2012.
