General Description:

Multiple studies were carried out to assess the effectiveness of the NanoDays activity DNA: Exploring Nanostructures. The Sciencenter and the Science Museum of Minnesota surveyed visitors after they participated in the activity.

Major Findings:

After some changes were made to the volunteers' training guide, visitors showed improvements in knowledge retention about DNA, nanostructures, and the implications for scientists. The most important aspect of this activity is ensuring consistency among volunteers in explaining all aspects of DNA AND nano with visitors.
