General Description: 

The Exploring Measurement – Human Body Nano Days activity was conducted in November 2008 at the Science Museum of Minnesota. A total of 15 visitors participated in a formative interview designed to measure their engagement with and comprehension of the activity.

Major Findings: 

The NanoDays activity Exploring Measurement: Human Body strongly relates the idea of scale and size to visitors through the use of alternative forms of measurement. The activity is both interesting and enjoyable, and visitors recognize how nanometers fit within the metric system.
