General Description:
The Science Museum of Minnesota surveyed 15 museum visitors after they participated in the BuckyBalls NanoDays activity. This formative testing of the activity assessed the activity's ability to teach about nanoscale structures.
Major Findings:
The formative evaluation of the Exploring Structures: Buckyballs Activity showed that the activity does well at conveying knowledge about the structure of nanosized objects. Many visitors walked away knowing that the activity was about the nanoscale, buckyballs, and atoms and molecules. In addition, all of the visitors enjoyed the activity.
