General Description:
Visitors at the Sciencenter in July, 2008 provided feedback on the exhibit Fact or Fiction. A total of 24 visitors completed self-administered surveys about the program. Questions formatively assessed how effectively the exhibit was conveying its main message that nanorobots currently do not exist.
Major Findings:
Visitors overwhelmingly enjoy the exhibit. It seems to be a hit with visitors, as nearly all are interested and enjoying themselves in the exhibit. In addition, visitors grasp that the exhibit is about robots. Lacking in their responses was the discussion around whether or not the robots are real or imaginary. Building, creating, imagination, and future technology were all major topics that visitors were thinking about as they left the exhibit.
