NanoAventura (NanoAdventure) is a traveling interactive exhibition about nanoscience and nanotechnology. It was specially designed for children and teenagers (9-14). NanoAventura explores the nanoscopic world in a playful fashion through images, music and video simulations. NanoAventura is the first exhibition organized by the new Science Museum of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in the city of Campinas, state of São Paulo, Brazil. It was opened to the public in April 2005.
- Nanometer-sized things are very small, and often behave differently than larger things do.
- Scientists and engineers have formed the interdisciplinary field of nanotechnology by investigating properties and manipulating matter at the nanoscale.
- Nanoscience, nanotechnology, and nanoengineering lead to new knowledge and innovations that weren't possible before.
- Nanotechnologies—and their costs, utility, risks, and benefits—are closely interconnected with society and with our values.
