Description:

"Exploring Size - Measure Yourself" is a hands-on activity in which visitors mark their height on a height chart and discover how tall they are in nanometers. They learn that although being a billion nanometers tall sounds impressive, it doesn't mean they're super tall: it means a nanometer is super small. Visitors can also measure their hands in nanometers.

We laminated our poster, and used mounting tabs to attach a long 1" x 2" board down the center of the back. We then took a screen door handle and secured it to the board with short screws. This makes it easy to take the poster out among our exhibits, instead of trying to stick it to a wall.

We provided those little metallic star stickers for people to use to mark their height on the wall chart - it looks nicer than marking it with pen or pencil, and they can be removed when too many are collected.
