Nano Spots are a series of graphics with interesting nano facts that can be placed throughout your institution. The package includes four 22x28 posters featuring food related facts, two molecule-shaped wall graphics to be printed on adhesive material and contour cut to shape, and three smaller stand-alone label graphics.
This series of museum labels are designed for general use in your museum or institution to highlight existing connections to nanoscale science, engineering, or technology. NISE Net partners are already coming up with creative ways to use these labels to showcase nano. For example, you can make a scavenger hunt or special tour to encourage visitors to find all the connections! Additional templates (.doc and .indd) are also provided so that you can create your own signage and content.
The NISE Network Bilingual Design Guide presents the variety of interpretive and design strategies the Network has used for different bilingual products, including exhibits, programs, and media. The guide focuses on NISE Net educational products offered in English and Spanish, but the considerations and solutions presented are more generally applicable to bilingual and multilingual museum experiences. The guide is complemented by the Translation Process Guide.
“Nanotech and Consumer Products” is a public presentation that introduces audiences to the growing role of nanotechnology in making consumer products, and encourages them to consider the potential environmental and health risks.
