Prior to arriving at the Space Sciences Laboratory in 2009, I was at the Exploratorium as Senior Project Manager for the NISE Network. Before those memorable days, I worked for five years at the Astronomical Society of the Pacific where I managed several multi-year NSF projects. Other career stints focused more on environmental education and wildlife conservation, including Program Director at the Headlands Institute, Project Manager/Associate Zoologist with The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii, and Research Assistant at the Los Angeles Zoo. I received my BS degree in Wildlife Management (with a minor in Fisheries) from Humboldt State University. In other words, don't ask me the nano questions!
