Originally from Trumbull, Connecticut Tamara Shattuck lived in Albany, New York for six years where she graduated from The College of Saint Rose with a BFA in studio art and a BS in art education. After graduating she taught at the Scotia Glenville Children’s Museum. Loving her experiences teaching in a children’s museum Tamara decided to continue her education and graduated in 2007 from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a MA in museum education. Her passion for teaching, and supporting the community she lives in lead Tamara to join the Center for Learning and Museum on the Move team at the Garden State Discovery Museum.
