A high school students from Escuela Trina Padilla de Sanz, Escuela Vocacional Antonio Lucchetti from Arecibo area, Escuela Estella Márquez from Salinas and Escuela Isidro Sánchez from Luquillo participated on Fuel Cells Workshop offered by the Dr. Cabrera Research Team.

The demonstrations were very educative and informative; students expressed appreciation and excitement about the content. The workshop consisted of four activities: Electrochemical reaction producing H2, Surface to Volume Ratio demonstrations, game board and oral presentation.

We posted poster about the event in the Natural Science Faculty and we also put some announcements overall the UPR- Rio Piedras Campus including bulletin boards on Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics Departments and on Facundo Bueso Building. We’d also market the event by an online web page; Facebook and posted billboards on Río Piedras Area, public service on the radio and a review on local newspaper.
