It's all-summer-programming-all-the-time on the Nano Bite this week. Here are a few examples of how partners are incorporating nano topics into their regular summer programming:
- Magnets Arizona Science Center [3] is making magnetism more intriguing by introducing kids to ferrofluid, from the activity Exploring Materials—Ferrofluid. [4] Jeannie Colton can tell you more: coltonj@azscience.org [5].
- Building Challenges The Sciencenter in Ithaca, NY [6] is featuring the Shrinking Robots! [7] program in a day on building challenges. Get in touch with Rae Ostman [8] for more information.
- DNA At the Austin Children's Museum in Austin, TX, 7 - 10 year old campers will be doing a bunch of activities around DNA, including extracting DNA from a strawberry. [9]
