Dr. Flagg's consulting group, Multimedia Research, specializes in front-end, formative and summative evaluations of educational products. Clients include museums, television stations, radio producers, filmmakers, software companies and universities. Recent projects include evaluations of museum planetarium shows, giant screen films and mobile apps; public television and radio series; websites; and after-school and museum outreach materials. For NISE Net, Multimedia Research worked on front-end analysis in year one and summative evaluation in years two and three. Prior to establishing Multimedia Research, Dr. Flagg served on the faculty at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education, where she taught for ten years about design and evaluation of educational technologies. Her doctoral degree was received from Harvard in Human Development, and her academic research explored how children attend to and learn from media.
