
Jeanne Petschauer is a former Principal Community Relations Specialist for the U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory, home of the Center for Functional Nanomaterials, and high school educator. Her challenges included various outreach activities with employees, federal and local government officials, business leaders and other visitors to the Lab. Among her achievements, Ms. Petschauer led the development and implementation of the Lab's Nanoscience Communication and Engagement Plan. She is especially interested in best practices for effective engagement and communication regarding issues related to emerging nanosciences and nanotechnologies.
