JoAnne Growney

Poet JoAnne Growney formerly taught mathematics at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania where she integrated the arts with mathematics. Now primarily a writer, she teaches poetry and is actively concerned about our natural environment. An addition to publication of poems, reviews and articles in a variety of journals, Growney is a co-editor of Strange Attractors: Poems of Love and Mathematics (A K Peters, 2008) and author of several poetry collections—most recently Angles of Light (Finishing Line Press, 2009).
