Kurt Przybilla

Kurt Przybilla is an inventor, educator, and writer. He wrote and produced the Molecularium, an NSF-funded digital dome animation made at Rensselaer Polytechinc Institute. He invented Tetra Tops®, the world’s first spinning top with more than one axis of spin. These award-winning toys have been featured in the New York Times, Popular Science, Baby Einstein and Discover Magazine, as well as at the Smithsonian Institute. He taught in Japan for three and a half years where he studied Japanese archery, flower arrangement, language, and poetry. In 2005, he cofounded the Bamboo Institute to utilize the incredible potential of bamboo to help solve many of the problems facing the planet.
