
I'm a PhD student in Science and Technology Studies at Cornell University. My dissertation examines NISE Net definitions of public engagement. My other areas of interest include: social and ethical issues of nanoscale phenomena, public understanding of science, and technologies as agents of social change. In addition to my teaching focus on the history and sociology of health and medicine, I have taught independently-designed courses: "Images of Nanotechnology" and "Public Images of Nanotechnology."
