I received a PhD in Physics from Cornell University were I was very active in outreach. My thesis research was on carbon nanotube transistors.
I've spent several years working at Science Museums sharing the joy of science (and blowing things up) with visitors of all ages.
I've taught middle school, high school, and college science classes. Currently, I work at the University of Vermont, coordinating the undergraduate physics labs.
