My name is Michael Nevels. I'm a retired engineer and an informal educator specializing in STEM.

I started SOS - STEM Outreach Services to fulfill a personal desire and a societal need, to inspire more students to pursue STEM careers.

I bring to SOS:

1) 30 years of engineering and project management experience
2) 30 years of volunteering in public and private school systems
3) 30 years of leadership in non-profit management focusing on STEM education
4) 4 years of managing and operating a mobile science and engineering exhibit impacting 34,000 students across Texas
5) 4 years of designing world-class exhibits in collaboration with the Houston Museum of Natural Science
6) A wealth of experience, resources, partnerships and testimonies
