I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry in 1996. After graduation I worked in various fields such as a veterinary assistant, receptionist at a pedicatrician's office, etc. I have been working at McWane Science Center since July, 2002 and can't imagine myself doing anything else as a career. I love science and I love education - so this is the perfect place for me.
I first got involved about 1 1/2 years ago when my boss was invited to the Forum workshop in Durham. She wasn't able to go, so I went in her place - and now I am the resident 'nano' person at my museum. I love learning about new stuff and with nano - there are so many interesting and new things changing daily.
I look forward to keeping involved with NISEnet and keeping in touch with everyone I've met...
