Sarah Maine

I have been an educator for the Office of Educational Programs at Brookhaven National Laboratory since 2005. Here I research, develop, design and implement inquiry programs and exhibits that are utilized in educating students in grades K-12 about current science topics. The programs and exhibits center on science research of the BNL scientists.

Recently, BNL opened the Center for Functional Nanomaterials, a research and experimental facility that focuses on nanotechnology. One of our current goals is the development and implementation of a nanoscience program for middle school students.
