Several NISE Network representatives traveled to Washington DC this past month to attend the National Science Foundation (NSF) Advancing Informal STEM Learning Program (AISL) Principal Investigator (PI) Meeting organized by the Center for Advancement of Informal Science Education (CAISE). We participated in breakout sessions on a wide range of topics familiar to folks in the NISE Net, such as Connecting with Scientists, Broadening Participation, ISE Networks, and Measuring Learning, just to name a few. One whole afternoon was focused on showing posters about the NISE Net project and looking at the posters that other projects brought as well as talking with the leaders of those projects.
