    About the Exhbiition:

The Sun, Earth, Universe exhibition is an engaging and interactive museum exhibition about Earth and space science for family audiences. The exhibition was created through a project led by Arizona State University, in collaboration with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The  Sun, Earth, Universe exhibition was developed by a team led by the Science Museum of Minnesota, and fifty-two copies will be fabricated and distributed nationwide by the National Informal STEM Education Network (NISE Network). Exhibitions will be delivered between fall 2018 and summer 2019 and then will be on display at museums across the country over the next several years. Learn more.

    Review process:

The NISE Network received 194 completed applications from across the country.  Each application we received was carefully evaluated by a team of reviewers across a variety of criteria.  Reviewers were looking for a demonstrated strong alignment with the project purpose, compliance with the project terms, reaching local underserved audiences, and helping the project achieve geographic diversity. The final selection of sites was based on the applicant’s demonstrated ability to meet display and ownership commitments, the length of display, ability to engage public audiences, relationship with the NISE Network, as well as the desire to reach a wide geographic distribution within the United States including traditionally underserved and underrepresented audiences. We wish we would have had additional financial resources to award all applicants with a free copy of the exhibition.

    Waiting list:

Applicants not awarded a copy of the exhibition on a waiting list; if an exhibition does become available at a later date in your area, we will contact the applicants.
