This year's 2018 Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) Annual Conference was another great opportunity for NISE Network partners and colleagues to reunite through participation in workshops and conference sessions, activities in the exhibit hall and Network booth, as well as at the annual NISE Network Partner Breakfast.
Over the past four years the NISE Network has expanded it's efforts to support learning about STEM topics from focusing only on nanoscale science to now covering synthetic biology, chemistry, and Earth and space science. The Network has also been involved in other projects relating to sustainability, emerging technologies, societal responsibility and scientific ethics. With each new project, the NISE Network's partner base continues to expand and become more diversified, which brings new, exciting potential to the Network as a whole. Currently, over 400 partner organizations represented by all 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico are involved in ongoing Network projects and activities.

- NISE Network booth: The full Sun, Earth, Universe exhibition was on display at the booth this year providing partners a sneak peak at the exhibition and the chance to play and explore the exhibition themselves.
