Awards for physical 2018 Explore Science: Let's Do Chemistry kits announced

Kayla Berry, Museum of Science

The NISE Network is pleased to announce, in collaboration with the American Chemical Society (ACS), the award of 250 Explore Science: Let's Do Chemistry 2018 kits to new and existing eligible partners in the U.S., including science centers and children's museums, universities, NASA visitor centers, and ACS local sections. This new set of engaging, hands-on chemistry activities and professional development resources included in the Explore Science: Let's Do Chemistry kit provide a great opportunity for informal science educators to participate in this year's National Chemistry Week in October. Celebrate "Chemistry Is Out of This World" and help to stimulate interest, sense of relevance, and feelings of self-efficacy about chemistry among public audiences.
