To celebrate Nanotechnology Day and the 20th anniversary of the federal act authorizing the creation of the National Nanotechnology Initiative, public engagement events were held at both the Arizona Science Center and Arizona State University during the month of October.
NanoDays activities at Arizona Science Center
A group of Arizona State University faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates engaged visitors at Arizona Science Center with NanoDays activities in celebration of National Nanotechnology Day on October 15, 2023.
NanoDays activities included:

Jameson Wetmore, associate professor in the School for the Future of Innovation in Society at Arizona State University reported, “We had some very excited families that worked through each station one by one.”

at the ASU Homecoming Block Party
Staff from the Arizona State University (ASU) Center for Innovation in Informal STEM Learning also had NanoDays activities at the annual ASU Homecoming Block Party on October 28, 2023.
