DESCRIPTION
On August 21st, 2017, communities all across the US will gather to witness a truly historic event, a total solar eclipse. Do you have your plans finalized for the big event? It's not too late! If you’re still looking for programming ideas, or if you have ideas you’d love to share with others in the NISE Net community, join us for an online sharing of eclipse planning and programming ideas. We’ll start with a list of activities and resources developed by the NISE Net and then we’ll hear from a few network partners who are hosting events and pre-eclipse events both on and off the path of totality. We’ll save time at the end for all participants to share their own plans, ideas, and burning questions. This will be one of the most amazing astronomical events in our lifetime so be sure to come check out what others in the Network are planning.
