The NISE Network runs a series of free online workshops to increase the number of professional development opportunities available to our partners, and create more channels for partners to share their work and learn from each other directly.
Online Workshop: Sustainability in Museums Around the World: Working Together to Create a Sustainable Future (Part 1)
Tuesday, February 18, 2020; 2 - 3pm Eastern / 11am - 12pm Pacific
Join us to learn how museums around the world are engaging their staff, visitors, and communities in creating a sustainable future. Presenters will provide an overview of sustainability, explain its relevance to museums, and highlight examples of sustainability in different museums. NISE Network partners will share their plans for Earth Day 2020 and the ways they are integrating sustainability into their organizations' programming, operations, and community collaborations. Participants will learn about new NISE Network public program resources available for free download and use and be inspired by variety of ways sustainability can fit into their organizations' priorities.
