On January 15th, 2022 Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, NC held an out of this world space weekend event filled with activities exploring our universe and the James Webb Space Telescope that was recently launched on December 25th, 2021.
The event featured activities from their Our Universe Learning Lab program like astronaut training, exploring light science with the Filtered Light activity, Moon exploration with the Moon Adventure Game, Mars exploration with the Exploring the Solar System: Mars Rover activity, and Exploring the Universe: Orbiting Objects. And to celebrate the launch of the Webb Telescope they had hands-on, play-based activities like Stomp Rockets, creating Craters and pretend Moon walking.
