DESCRIPTION
Voyage through the Solar System kit of hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities based on NASA's continuing pursuit of human exploration of the Moon and Mars and a mobile app that launches users further into the solar system. Physical and digital resources were shared to leverage local partnerships to engage diverse audiences and support at home STEM learning beyond museum walls.

Summative Evaluation
Both kit hands-on activities and the DIY apps developed for the Voyage Through the Solar System Project were found to successfully enhance public interest, awareness, and knowledge about space exploration, science, and engineering. Both formats were highly engaging, though they exhibited distinct strengths related to their format and design.
