The NISE Network runs a series of free online workshops to increase the number of professional development opportunities available to our partners, and create more channels for partners to share their work and learn from each other directly.

The Moon Adventure Game is a collaborative hands-on experience where players work together to solve a series of challenges grounded in real science about living and doing research on the Moon. The game was part of the 2020 Explore Science: Earth and Space toolkit Part B, and in this workshop, we will hear from a number of partners who are using the game to engage their audiences in a variety of ways. Learn how museums have integrated this experience into camps, adapted parts for use with preschool-aged audiences, and even combined the game with a live-action version of the popular game Among Us! We’ll also discuss ways that presenters were able to use this hands-on experience safely during the restrictions presented to museum programming during COVID-19. Join us and start planning how you’ll use your Moon Adventure Game this summer!
