NISE Network to Participate in 2018 NSF’s STEM for All Video Showcase to Highlight Innovation in STEM Education

The NISE Network will be featured in the 2018 STEM for All Video Showcase funded by the National Science Foundation. The event will be held online May 14th -21st, and the presentation, entitled “NISE Network’s Space & Earth Informal STEM Education Project,” highlights the Space & Earth project in collaboration with NASA and a few of the Explore Science: Earth & Space public events across the US from March to August 2017 hosted by NISE Net partner institutions.

Building with Biology Pilots Newest Forum “Editing Our Evolution: Rewriting the Human Genome” at Four NISE Network Partner Institutions

Four Building with Biology project partners recently hosted the “Editing Our Evolution” forum within their local community helping to extensively test program materials and gather visitor feedback on the forum and their experiences. Pilot site locations varied by institutional size, geographic location, and audience demographic and included: Michigan Science Center, New York Hall of Science, North Carolina Museum of Life and Science, and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
