Online workshop about partner plans for public engagement during the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.

DESCRIPTION

During this online workshop, we heard from NISE Network partners on and off the path of totality about their plans for events during the April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. We also highlighted resources from multiple sources that can be used for public engagement as well as preparing volunteers and staff for events. Ideas and experiences were shared to help inform work and provide all audiences with unforgettable programming during this historic event!

2024 Total Solar Eclipse - Monday, April 8, 2024

On Monday, April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will be seen in the US from Texas to Maine. States on the path of totality include: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. All of North America will have at least a partial solar eclipse (if skies are clear).
